The media library and product database of a heating industry leader
A media library connected to SSO, a FABDIS product database and skills assessment tools for Vaillant Académie.
The context
Vaillant and Saunier Duval, two brands of the same heating industry leader, needed to give their professionals (installers, distributors, internal teams) access to a large volume of documents and product data, in a reliable, up-to-date format.
What I designed
- A complete media library, connected to the SSO of both brands’ websites: every professional accesses the documents, visuals and product sheets that concern them with their usual account.
- The product database in FABDIS format, the data exchange standard between building industry manufacturers and distributors: product data is centralised, structured and exportable for distribution partners.
- Dynamic forms for Vaillant Académie, the training division: training paths and professional skills assessments, with statistics to track learners’ progress.
The outcome
A single platform serving two brands, saving time for professionals and internal teams alike, and giving Vaillant Académie concrete indicators on the skills of its network.
